Vancouver House

Vancouver House is a transitional housing program in Manoa featuring 33 one and two-bedroom apartments for families. Applicant heads of household must be working at least 19 hours a week and have been referred by an outreach agency or emergency shelter authorized to verify homelessness. Program fees vary by income, and occupancy is limited to 24 months.

Amenities include laundry facilities, playground and computer center.

Loliana Apartments

Loliana Apartments is a transitional housing program in Kakaako featuring 43 studio units for families. Applicant heads of household must be working at least 19 hours a week and have been referred by an outreach agency or emergency shelter authorized to verify homelessness. Program fees vary by family size, and occupancy is limited to 24 months.

Amenities include laundry facilities, playground and computer center.

Na Kolea

Na Kolea is a transitional housing program in Moiliili featuring 64 rooms of housing for individuals. Applicants must be working at least 19 hours a week, and have been referred by an outreach agency or emergency shelter authorized by the State of Hawaii to verify homelessness. Program fees vary, based on income.

Kulaokahua Apartments

Kulaokahua Apartments is a transitional housing program featuring 43 studio units for persons at least 62 years old. Applicants must have been referred by an outreach agency or emergency shelter authorized by the State of Hawaii to verify homelessness. Program fees vary, based on income.

Sea Winds Apartments

Sea Winds Apartments is a gated Waianae neighborhood containing 20 transitional studios with a maximum stay of 36 months, and 30 two-bedroom apartments for long-term residency. The beautifully landscaped community features resident and visitor parking, keiki playground, event kitchen, picnic area, computer center and conference room.

Rent varies, depending on income and family size. Applications are available during business hours on weekdays at 85-295 Kauiokalani Place in Waianae.

Weinberg Hale

Weinberg Hale is an affordable housing property in Moilili containing 59 studios. Living units feature private baths as well as kitchenettes. Conveniently located near bus stop, retail stores and restaurants.

Residents are accepted by referral from social service agencies.

Thomas House

HSI’s Thomas House is a century-old building at 41 S. Beretania Street in downtown Honolulu, near the mauka end of Fort Street Mall. The facility will be closed for renovation in early 2016, and will reopen with two floors of remodeled studio apartments, a ground floor restaurant, and upgraded offices in the basement. The restaurant will double as a food & beverage training center for HSI residents desiring to upgrade their potential in Oahu’s job market.

Island West Apartments

Island West Apartments features 393 studios of affordable housing. Rent depends on number of occupants, as well as location in Building A or Building B. Applications are available during business hours on weekdays at 607 N. King street in Kalihi.
